Abstract

My research interests are in the area of implementing integrated pest management programs and insect biocontrol. This interest led to the implementation of an IPM program in eggplant for the control Colorado potato beetle. Current research interests include conservation biological control as it pertains to ornamental and vegetable insect pests and studying the biology, ecology and management of the recently introduced invasive insects such the brown marmorated stink bug Halyomorpha halys, spotted lanternfly and emerald ash borer.

Research Projects

  • Management of the brown marmorated stink bug Halyomorpha halys
  • Phenology of the spotted lanternfly Lycorma delicatula
  • Biological control of the Agrilus planipennis
